Dining in hell
  • Description

King Leonidas and a force of 300 men fight the Persians at Thermopylae in 480 B.C. yay.....
-The film was shot in 60 days.
-Over 60 people worked on the costumes for the movie.
-The monologue said by the narrator when it shows Leonidas and his men dead is actually found on the tomb of the real King Leonidas.
-There are 1,523 cuts in the film, with over 1300 visual effect shots comprising 8631 visual effect elements.
-Military strategists have pointed out that the way to break the Spartan formation was to use artillery. If heavy missiles such as stones were rained on the Spartans it would have enabled the Persians to destroy them from a distance. However, catapults were not invented for another 200 years.

Leonidas: "Spartans! Ready your breakfast and eat hearty... For tonight, we dine in hell!"

Something like: we are going to die so enjoy your moments now. Very powerful. I find 300 is an amazing movie.
