    On third day of rain on his way home, Pelayo found a very old man lying on the ground trying to get up, he noticed the old man had enormous wings.

    Pelayo tells her wife Elisenda immediately. Shocked, they thought of clobering him, but instead decided to call there neighbor woman for help. The neighbor identifies him as an angel and warns them that he could be dangerous.

    Feeling generous, they decided let the angel free by putting him on a raft with provisions to survive.But, when they went out to there courtyard they noticed all the attention the angel had captured. They changed there mind and decided to make a profit out of him.

    The angel never expresed his feelings to anyone that approached him, causing the spectators to loose interest. During those days a carnival attraction arrived in town showing the woman who had been converted to a spider for desobeying her parents. Unlike the angel she expressed her feelings and spoke her human sorrows. The angel was soon forgotten and left to wonderr around pelayo home.

    though he was forgotten, and left in the corner of the chicken coop, while pelayo and elisenda built there home better by the profit they made from him. He began to grow out his feathers on his wings, until one afternoon while elisenda was cooking he decided to leave. Elisenda watched him with relief because he was more imaginary person thean someone real in her life.
