    The pole was made from flexible metal so it bounced back and forth. Since there's no atomosphere there was nothing to slow the bouncing affect and the flag appeared to wave for a bit after it was planted.

    He's was big symbol for the humanbeing. Btw. is there wind on the moon for that flag??
