    Maoriman's World is unique as a terrestrially terraformed colony world. Tidally locked with its satellite, Goldmedal, this non-rotating world is known for its migratory population. Members of Maoriman society can choose to spend time on the Dayside, the Darkside, or live near the terminator in a world of perpetual twilight. Most pick a lifestyle where they can spend part of each year in each zone.
    The position of Goldmedal, forever between Maoriman’s world and its yellow dwarf sun, Capella A, means that a portion of Dayside is beneath a perpetual eclipse. The sprawling city of Umbra lies in the night-like dark of the center of the eclipse while the surrounding region has been set aside as an undeveloped nature preserve known as Penumbra.
    Native vegetation tends to be a jungle of soft purple hues, many of which are edible by human beings.

    With food production so simple on Dayside and an endless nightlife on Darkside, the inhabitants of Maoriman’s world lead an idyllic existence flatlanders back on Earth can only envy from afar.

    Oh yeah! Look at that! A planet of idyllic pleasure... where one can lounge around and read about the All Blacks kicking Aussie butt all day long while gulping down cold ones... Paradise found indeed!
