    But...they're happy to sell lots of guns and ammo to frightened people in the meantime...

    So when is the right time to talk about it? Oh, when everyone has forgotten about it again of course!

    How many folks must a man shoot down,
    Before there is sane gun control?

    Hold on there! I'm from the National Rifle Association and I say you can't be talking about gun control now!

    A bunch of people just got shot, hurt, and killed! What better time to talk about it?

    But that's no fair! You might win the argument! Er...

    What I mean is that people are emotional right now. They aren't thinking rationally.

    It's perverse and disgusting to take advantage of a tragedy like this for your own benefit!

    Excuse me sir. You asked for the latest sales figures after we ran those sudden new ads in the past couple of days. Sales of guns and ammo at your stores are up 2500% since the shootings.

    You will personally make an extra $5 million because of those shootings.

    YES!

    Now as I was saying: it's disgusting to use a tragedy for personal gain! So no gun control talk!
