    Jim,do you know what altermat interior angles are?

    No Sally, what are they?

    Alternate interior angles are the pairs of angles on opposite sides of the transversal but inside the two lines.

    What else is there to know about these angles.

    If the lines crossed by the transversal are parallel then the angles are congruent.

    Thats some very nifty stuff!
