    Howdy! I'm a Turkey Vulture...

    Welcome to ma humble abode; The desert.

    Ya know, i dont care what anyone thinks. The desert is a beautiful and wonderful place. I can support myself, and my family here for generations!

    I guess it does help that we have an unlimited supply of food... Us being scavengers and all but...

    What's a scavenger you ask?

    Well, you see, a scavenger is an animal that feeds off the corpse of another animal. We're not very good hunters however... But that's beside the point. Me and my kind help clean up the desert before it becomes full of dead old animals.

    you'd think that with all the good we do for our environment, it'd let us live without the fear of predators. sadly it has not.

    We've got wild dogs, wild cats, humans, and even other birds coming after us!

    Despite all of the crummy predators, we've still managed to live over 3000 years with a growth rate of 1.2% per year!

    This means, each year our population increases instead of dercreasing!
