Description
I love summer thunderstorms.
Transcript
ExpandI encroach upon the birght blue sky bringing a different color
I leave all fearful from the biggest man to the smallest crawler.
Some men can predict me coming
But I still always have them running
In my wake the sky turns gray.
I see the sky go dark in a colorless flash
To our burrows we made a mad dash
The kits all are shaking with fear
As the growling monster comes near

On this day the sky turns gray.
Mommy says not to worry it's just the angels bowling
But while I'm down in my bed I see the clouds come rolling
I hug my kitty nice and tight
And hope to get through this stormy night
As I lay the sky goes gray.
I sit down to write in the warm summer heat
But as I do a roaring my ears meet
It brings to me an inspiration so new
So I wrote this poem while the wind blew
So on this day the sky turns gray.
