ExpandA private missionary from the Grekish Empire refused to heed the warning.
Ghole responded harshly, and a small skirmish broke out between the two nations.
It occured on the Gholic island of Nazgot, and lasted for 6 hours before both sides called a stalemate.
However, the Grekish managed to capture the Gholan Prince Vikter Osiq, who was vacationing on Nazgot when the skirmish broke out.
The Brekish Empire said they would return the boy if Ghole opened up to missionaries, but they consistantly refused.
Prince Vikter Osiq (Currently)
They took the 9 year old prince to the Grekishlands as a war prisoner...
This deeply angered the Grekish Emperor, who in turn began having the young boy tortured for his own amusement.
This included included beatings, whippings, lacerations, and the removal of his eye. He battled other prisoners in the Emperor's private death arena, and was under the tutelage of an old master swordsman who also was imprisoned by the Grekish.
His life was cruel and harsh, yet his father in Ghole refused to bargain with the Grekish. Vikter remained imprisoned by the Emperor until 21 years after his capture.
Vikter's father became ill, so he appointed his younger brother ro rule in his absence. Vikter's uncle Murad Osiq II was essentially the King, and negotiated a deal with the Brekish Empire to return Vikter. The Brekish Emperor agreed and freed the scarred prince after 21 years of imprisonment.
