    Once upon a time, an evil guy named Sauron made an evil ring.

    Bwahahaha!

    Then a man named Isildur chopped off his hand and stole it.

    No!

    Cool, a ring!

    Then Isildur got killed by Orcs, and the ring fell into a river.

    Then an ugly creature called Smeagol found it became evil, and changed his name to Gollum

    Hello, my precious, yes.

    Then a hobbit named Bilbo found it.

    Cool!

    Then, he brought it back to his home, and used it to become invisible.

    Awesome!

    He kept it until he was 111, when he looked the exact same as when he found it.

    Yay!

    Then an ugly wizard named Gandalf made him give it to his nephew Frodo.

    Give it to him.

    No.

    Give it to him.

    Fine.
