    @ambro... yeah ive found that to be a way around the bug also mate... but in this peice the pixelation only began in the shading of the face, there was no masking in the shading. i only used a few simple shapes in the shading areas but it was the blurred levels that made it pixelate..once you overlay a few lowered blur shapes, thats when it turns ugly.

    i used to do this process to avoid pixelation..

    once it begins to pixelate, group... add another few layers, ungroup grouped item then group all and repeat... it was a painfull process but it worked:D i won't do it that way anymore;)

    If you do not use masked + blurred elements the pixelation bug comes much later.
    I discovered it while making the Joker. Just erased some masked6blurred/lowered opacity shapes, changed them to simple basic shapes and everything went well.
    Masking is that really blow up things
