    So the anime referenced is Soul Eater. Quite interesting, though the ending to the anime is very disappointing: unsure about the manga as I've not gotten to read it yet.

    Anyways, Noonie reveals her true form so she can beat me and, with this new power, is able to easily get the upper hand in my weakened state. In an attempt to get on a level playing field, I try something that I've seen in an anime... as it seems logical enough and it seems to be working too.
