Unfortunately this is true, but there is a workaround. I used opeluna's quitar base and head as a help for building my own. I've stealed them (see the previous strip how), set the opacity to around 40-50 then I built my own object by basic shapes with the help of the lowered opacity library element. For the details I haven't followed her strip but I used a picture reference from the web.
So far this is the only method for use friends stuffz as your own.
So this myth is CONFIRMED, however there is a workaround.
With great respect for opeluna for her awesome guitar series...
Also I've used the textbox masking method for the letters with lower opacity. Also I found that grouped textboxes are not translated on this strip.

So far I reached the biggest number of strips per series, as almost all my series halted at episode 5. I hope there wouldn't be an artist-block on me... :D Music is the best inspiration.
