    I believe since the first part in SSGG I've mentioned about my past (in the game) involving a certain romance.

    Anyways, I thought since Charon showed up and my attention was focused on him I would momentarily forget about the hit squad. Luckily tis only a flesh wound.

    After gaining composure, I was able to use the car as cover as I withdrew to the building nearby.

    This strip is a reply to SSGG S3: A Little Side Tap, SSGG S3: Back up? Never heard about that.

    That stupid demon caused me to lose my focus.

    Why couldn't he help and not show up and just announce it.

    Get it together Stephen... you've been shot before...

    Hell, you were even left for dead... by the person you cared most about.

    No... it's no time to reminisce; especially about that.

    Think... your minds racing... adrenaline is high... how do you get the higher ground?

    Do you think he's dead yet?

    No way did he survive... but to be sure... I'll take the right and you take the left.

    Grrr! There's a blood trail heading towards the building! But that means he's injured... he can't get far.

    @cirkuz: I was shot in the leg, a vest wouldn't help as it covers the torso. Also, an AK round probably would puncture through that vest as their meant to protect against smaller rounds (typically handguns.)
