So why do we get miffed about thumbs down/minusing, especially when it is anonymous?
Well, used to be, I remember when the two were separate scores. I got a few minuses during that time, and it never made me mad. Ever. I could see the two were separate. Now, with the way it works, it takes away some of our pluses.
That, my dear friends, gets deep deep under my skin.
We're strippers (not the kind portrayed...but, y'know same concept). Our tips, our thriving, is those little thumbs up. Not important as the content of the strips, but come on...we all jiggle to get some of those thumbs up, potential of getting on the front page...
Thumbs down, instead of being a separate thing, takes away our tips.
Just try taking a dollar from a stripper, see how pretty your face will be after she gets through putting a spike heel through your face.
