The title and the content both refer to M.A.D. Magazine, which I read as a teenager on a regular basis.

Spy vs Spy was always about two spys, one wearing a white cloak, one wearing a black cloak, who always tried to kill each other.
With all the minus ninjas around, theres also a lot of plus ninjas, people who rate thumbs up, but do not/cannot comment on a strip.
I noticed during a recent minus storm, that some of the minuses went away, thusly signaling that there was a plus ninja there.Transcript
