Zi’Klaig the Fat
Zi’Klaig was the 20th Royal High Priest in Inboxarr. Hs reign came after the death of his father, Noonen Puo’Buounni. Zi’Klaig was celebrated as bringing Inboxarr to vast wealth and influence. Although the Buouni were a violent people, under Zi’Klaig’s reign there was a full 40 years of peace between Inboxarr and all other nations. His love of knowledge and arts brought forth the largest libraries of Chthulic tomes and prophecy and a period of beautifully produced Chthulic carvings. Exports of fine swamp reed paper and oils made from the extracts of sweet lip fly trap leaves were traded in high volumes to artisans from all the corners of SG, bringing in gold, silver, precious stones, and various goods from all over in trade. The treasuries of the temple grew fat, as did the High Priest’s waistline.
When he was anointed as High Priest, he was given scrolls of plans by an Arch-Fiend, who said the plans were written by Chthuhlu himself. He gathered all of the resources Inboxarr had at the time and volunteers worked endlessly till the massive temple was erected. Miraculously, it only took 2 years to build the massive structure, and it was rumored deamons worked during the night while everyone rested in their tents to help get it completed. After it was built, the priesthood anointed the building, and darkness hung over the spot for nine days. After the darkness lifted, the priesthood moved into the temple and began their rites.
On the day of the anointing, Zi’Klaig had 3000 Totoros slaughtered for a massive nine day feast for the people outside of the stone walls around the perimeter of the Temple complex. When the darkness lifted, scouts from the South reported that the wasteland area had sprouted green and the monsters that lived in the area were eating of it. It was called a miracle, and another feast was held for an additional nine days as fruit and slain giant monsters were brought up from the Southland and roasted. After Zi’Klaig’s death, the green went away and it became barren again.
