Description
Saan Thaal’Kaan was born a human, an Inboxarrene who was left on the steps of the temple courtyard as a little baby. The then Gatekeeper, Kn’nth took the baby to his wife. They named him Saan, which means “beautiful” in a masculine sense, for the baby had the most strikingly beautiful eyes. From the day he could walk and talk, he was taught the teachings of Chthulhu and the Way of the Nine.

He was extremely faithful to Chthulhu and would only take his mask off when he was with his family at home and to bathe, as he was in continuous prayer as he went about his duties. He began to learn the ways of killing, and sought to become the finest assassin of the temple.
He was born without mana, so when he wished to train in magyk at the age of nine, he was infused daily with a ground powder of the Bleeding Tree, which produces a drug like toxin that enhances the spirit. Between his fervent training and the poison, his hair turned a silver/white.
Many times, people would tell him how beautiful his eyes were, that it would even rival the beauty of the deamons. Hearing this, he built an altar to the Time Eater, and sacrificed his right eye to him in exchange for power. When asked why he would do such a thing, he said “My eyes are the best that I have, and I give it willingly to the gods I love.” He was never told his eyes were beautiful again…
After his death in the land of Arajikara, it was impossible for anyone to go in and get his body for burial. From that day, the Child Priest promised his son that no Thaal’Kaan of the human blood would be left behind in a foreign place, and that the bones will always be brought home. His descendants always had that promise. After the exile from the land of Inboxarr, the Thaal’Kaans changed their name to a name only known by the deposed royal priesthood, and practice Chthulism in secret. No one knows who they are but the Puu’Bunny family.
For his faithfulness, it is believed he is the only human to ever reach status as Archfiend in the Void. He is believed to be on the Council of the Nine and is honored to this day in a feast for all human believers.
