The Emperor
This strip is a reply to Tarot #4, Tarot - 3 - The Empress
The emperor is the authorative ruler, the universal father figure. He can be both the benevolent leader and the egocentric dictator. He stands beside his throne decorated with agressive ram´s heads and gazes upon his shield, decorated with an eagle, a symbol of power. In his hand is an orb, symbol of both the sun and the world over which he rules. He leans upon a staff crowned with the anch, a symbol for life.
