SSGG Card: Long Read
  • Description

    Detective
    Stephen Lindsey

    Age: 29
    Hair: Brown
    Height: 5'10"
    Eyes: Brown
    Str.: 2
    Int.: 3
    Sk.: 4
    Chr.: 4 (+1)
    Spd.: 7
    Agil.: 7
    HP: 6

Presence: Near a normal human's, but something is "different".
    Alignment: Good

Psyche: Since the incident last year, he has become much calmer in his approach and demeaner, though does still get annoyed by certain events: usually lighting a cig to relax. He often talks to his alter-ego (Snake) which is seen by those that notice it as a sign of insanity.

    Backstory:
Stephen has been a detective for nearly five years now and been the lead homicide detective for the past two and a half years. Before that, he was a patrol officer with the force for three years. He is up on the newest forensic techniques and constantly tries to learn all of the newest techniques. Because of his high number of cases solved and the fact he was able to apprehend Streetin two years ago, he is known through the precinct and even in the community to a lesser degree. He is very critical and cynical of the judicial system because of the fact that one tiny gaff can cause a criminal to be set free.
He got the scar on his face during the Southside Brothel incident two years ago. Prior to this, he was once shot in the chest while he was still a patrol officer and verily survived. It was a classic tale of a lover's betrayal... which he often references to some officers that his "Heart was shot and taken long ago."

    The Alter-Ego
    Snake Yukin
    Age: 35
    Hair: Black
    Height: 6'2"
    Eyes: Red
    Str.: 4
    Sk.: 4
    Chr.: 2
    Int.: 3 (+1)
    Spd: 8
    Agil: 5
    HP: 7

Presence: Can be felt in surrounding area. The duality helps to lower his presence
Affilition: Good (because of Stephen)... but technically neutral.

Psyche: Arrogant and cocky. Isn't as reserved as Stephen in colateral damage. Isn't really sociable or even a people person and only talks to Stephen somewhat sociably.

    Backstory:
Snake is a demon that has been a part of Stephen as far back as Stephen can remember. Snake isn't just another personality, he is an actual other entity that is part of Stephen. Early on in Stephen's police life he often used Snake to take care of any vicious criminal that had gotten off because of the corruption and faults in the judicial system. After being shot and becoming a detective, he uses Snake only to handle situations a normal human couldn't handle or to get into areas with high criminal activity that wouldn't be too welcoming to a detective.
Stephen often talks to Snake during investigations to get his opinion on the case and to see if he noticed something that he didn't. He often does talk to Snake outside of the investigation as well.

So much writing! Sorry for the long read as well. I was planning on using the love thing in Stephen (my) backstory during the Side Game, at least referencing it, but it never really came up. I also changed the stuff on when Stephen used Snake to reflect the change of his ways from before and after.

Also, the reason Snake's picture wasn't in there is because I'm planning to possibly change his look so people can draw his arms easier. The old one needed the person to know the opacity and stuff to make it match colors.
