    Just an update on shading - and I'm no expert so feel free to ignore this - think about where your light source is. If it's from the right of the face, the right side of the hair line will shade because it can't catch the light; but the left side will not shade because the light can get under the hairline. Same for the nose and cheeks but because the nose sticks out the left side of it will shade - tricky stuff but try it...
