At the House of Holiness, Lady Una and the Knight are introduced to Fidelia (Faith), Speranza (Hope), and Charissa (Charity). The three teach the Knight about heaven, faith, hope, pennance, and renewal. He is also healed by seven virtuous men of all his physical wounds. Hope Faith Charity "And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three;
