    A savage lion is tamed by Una's purity and becomes her guardian. Archimago (the old evil hermit) transforms himself into a likeness of the Redcrosse Knight and fools Una into believing the disguise. Soon they encounter Sans loy, the brother of Sans foy whom the Knight killed. Believing the disguise, Sans loy demands a fight and Archimago is striken down.
