Description
Long ago its inhabitants were arrogant, nothing could bring down the floating city. A marvel of engineering. Many lived lavishly, stepping on the lower classes, spitting on the lowly shopkeeps, the hired helps, the ones who were serving. They did not forsee that their own behavior would bring them down. One too many treated like second class. One that rallied the others. One that sunk the city and sent it to the bottom of the sea.
This strip is a reply to Watery Grave: Sirens of Gold, Watery Grave: Spirits Beacon
The others had been working the ships that brought in their huge bounties as the rich sat in palaces and mansions. The others were the ones who filled those life saving ships. The rich only knew their hired help dissappeared for the moment before the water started to rise.
"Help me!" they cried. "Save us."
"Let your money save you."
Money wont make that city float again. Money won't raise those damned souls.
