Description
A final hurrah for my little rental ninja.
We have coverboxes for all of our games. The coverboxes are the original artwork for the game (what the game would NORMALLY come in) to basically act as a placeholder on the shelf. Now that we're selling them, I wrapped rubberbands around the rental copy and the cover art so that they get the original box. Some geniouses will rip the coverboxes off and bring them up (we have the prices on the rental copy and not the coverbox to save stickers) and go "I cant find the price on this." I then ask them if they saw the sign that said "Do not remove rubberbands" and if that came with a copy that was rubberbanded to it. The geniouses usually reply with "But I dont want two copies". I normally respond with, "I apologize. You do not get two copies, that is just to make sure you get the original box and we arent left with any empty boxes." What I'd like to say is more like above...Transcript
ExpandDo Not Remove Rubberbands! Do Not Remove Rubberbands! Do Not Remove Rubberbands! Do Not Remove Rubberbands! Do Not Remove Rubberbands! *SPLORT* Why are these boxes rubberbanded together? Please do not remove the rubberbands. But I do not want two copies. You do not get two copies. You get the original cover box to go with the rental copy But I do not want two copies... Dammit! Now I need to make a new sign!
