I was commented in the forum. I am disagree with you. Well the total deactivation(invisible strips) option would be cool. I have to delete some of my old strips because they become obsolete and no way to deactivation.
There is no good solution for the bribing problem, there are a lot of talent here, and too few space on Bribed part. That would be cool If the counting timer was not fixed on 00:00+1Hour GMT, but I have seen strips posted before 4-5 hours from this time and getting bribed.

Opting out of having your strip rated seems like a great idea to me. Or how about being given the option of whether or not we would like our strip to appear on the bribed page - if not it could go to the next highest thumbs up

You mean voting system off as in the thumbs down?

    Autre remarque :
    - — vous savez tous que pour être Brided on fait un certain type de strips ...
On n'est pas brided par hasard.

    Other notes:
    - - You all know that to be Brided you make a certain type strips ...
It is not by chance brided.

Oui, votre proposition pourrait-être intéressante ...

    Remarque :
    - — dans la précédente version de Stripgenerator on pouvait désactiver temporairement un strip ... cela permettait d'éviter de participer aux brided.

Yes, your proposal could be interesting ...

    - - In the previous version Stripgenerator could temporarily disable stripping ... This avoids brided participate.

I think it is a good option to consider. Sometimes as SnakeY said, when you do a simple or silly strip you do not want it rated. Or perhaps you reach a point where you just want to create art and not necessarily compete for bribeds anymore. And veterans could occasionally opt out and not get endlessly bribed as a usually happens...yet still post strips. Competition isn't necessary all the time. But we do need more options to highlight work as bsm said...
  • bluesockmonkey 15.3.2010
i continue to support this option...but i would also like to see us come up with a system to better showcase work from more varied artists on the front page...there must be a way...
  • Spunkn 15.3.2010
Yes, I still wish we had this option.
  • SnakeYukin 15.3.2010
Also, I'm not saying it's a bad idea... but there will probably still be some complaints even if there was this option and someone opted to use it. Though I would probably use it some of my more lazy strips.

change SG for one stupid people?
but it you wish, i accept this
  • SnakeYukin 15.3.2010
Then we'll also need the option to turn off comments as people will be jealous of how many people comment on it... then it'll be something else. Let's just face the fact that the voting system is more of an indicator of how popular someone is. Those with more friends, get more thumbs up, and are more likely to get bribed or whatever... not necessarily those that do a great comic.
