    Humming in the red haze, the goblin's towers hummed and glowed with life and light. Inorganic structures much like batteries. Giant crystalline marvels. Our sweet mother's crown jewels. They fed our computers and nav equipment using crystals mined from the farthest reaches. But mommy didnt need them, she only needed the carbs and nutrients fed to her from the cargo hold. These were to feed our energy greedy computers and nav equipment.

    The Burds darted by, throwing their glow with an excited "twik, twik, twik" as they fluttered among the towers, looking for tasty little treats. Keeping the goblins houses free of energy theiving Mollusks. Damned things would suck us dry if not for these little guys.

    You see the strangest damn things so far from home, but I wouldn't trade it. Not for anything, anyone.
