    This makes no sense. It is 37 degrees and raining outside. haha. However, nice use of the alloted images and colors..and the little death guy is always funny.

    I like the contrast with the color and the images. I also like how you used the images to make the place where the turtle is really seem like hell. It was also very creative the way that you created the rock face or whatever it is along the right side of the panel.

    This looks like a very detestable place, comparable to hell. Red is the perfect color to subconsciously illustrate anger or frustration. life is full of obstacles. Sometimes arduous ones. The turtle is a great way to illustrate the emotion and with the other character posted so high above that gives a great illustration of the burden that or weight of life that sometimes hangs over us. Very well put together.

    I didn't fully understand this strip (or the Limbaww one) until you went over them in class. You put a lot of thought into these. You communicate a ton of information in just a frame or two. The use of red, the desert, the melting sun, and the sweaty, steamy turtle really make the viewer "feel" the heat. The strips larger message (having been explained to me) is excellent.

    So true... This strip is very uncomfortable, and I mean that in a positive sense (I mean you've captured the difficulty of the situation). I really like how you've inverted the random icon on the right and tacked a head on it to create the creature... I would not have thought of that. This also has a nice, expressionistic feel.
