    So here is a simplified or chibi version of Nyvala, my character design for Flamingdeath’s Lenore series. She is drawn in the Victorian Gothic Creepy style…probably started by Chaz Addams…you know Addams Family : ] I drew some of her expressions on the side.

    More about her history. Nyvala Kaur Shah is from Mumbai (Bombay) one of the most populous cities in India. She doesn’t like it there much as she feels crowded, even in her family estate (which is enormous) hence her travels. Her family used to hold a lot of political influence there but their powers have been waning. The age of vampyrs is sadly in the past these days...

    Note: I’m not from India, but I thought I would make her different from the usual western vampires who usually seem to be European…I’m sure there must vampyrs in Bombay : ] If I get anything wrong please feel free to correct me. Just mixing things up, culturally.

    Yeah, I'm disappointed in this generations vampires, but I like yours! I'm not aware of too many Indian vampires, but I will look into it!
