    It's short for Non Governmetal Organizations like your local bowling club, enivronmental groups or a pharmaceutical industry interest group for example. EU Lobbying Lessons Even docile EU citizens like you know what NGOs are, right? Que? Beside normal NGOs, there are also QUANGOs or quasi NGOs. QUANGOs are further subdivided into BINGOs (business-interested NGOs), GINGOs (government-interested NGOs), BONGOs (business organised NGOs) and ... ... I shit you not, the oxymoronically named: GONGOs - Government organised NGOs. No, really. Hint: For extra fun, read it aloud and fast! Governments... Defeating the purpose since... Forever.
