    Oh come on, don't tell me you haven't played the classic Call of Cthulhu! Trail of Cthulhu is based on CoC, but the rules are minimal and there is more focus on the investigation part. For beginners, CoC is very nice because of the percentile rules, but ToC forces you more to interpretation and acting.
