Description
Breakthroughs in genetics testing gave birth to viral warfare. Various strains were tested on whole towns of people, and one broke through as being the defining factor in warfare. A virus that would mutate its victims, and would turn their hosts into rampaging killing machines. Unstoppable, bloodthirsty, and effective against their own countrymen. The virus did the work for the dwindling armies, wiping out whole towns and creating waves that would spread beyond the countrysides

destruction breeds technology, technology breeds more destruction. Over and over and over again.
Dont worry guys, its gonna get worse as this goes along!
clarification: a virus and bacteria are two totally separate things. bacteria will grow on things and produce chemicals and will eat whats in its surroundings (which is why some bacteria make us sick, because the chems they produce dont go well with our physiology or they start eating us)
a virus will inject its own dna into a cell to make more of itself.
