    I'm reasonably sure I've never even noticed the number of pluses or minuses I've received... I do pay attention to comments, though.

    So come on over and tell me I suck!

    I'm with Asha and Dorota--the + and - system is not as informative as a comment, and for that matter, what do negative comments accomplish? You know my philosophy--life is too short to focus on the negatives. . .

    I got 2 minuses and still made the bribed. It doesn't matter, I just like to know where to improve, just like Sl9. You can't please everyone, but there is always room for improvement!

    Ok I agree that minus alone doesn't tell you much, but hey... Maybe I just don't like your strip and I rated it with a minus? :) Why should I explain myself? You don't need to obsess yourself over this ratings. Just give more weight to comments and take ratings as they were meant to be. Just some quick indication how do people like your strip. Nothing more and nothing less. If someone liked it she or he gave you a plus and it they didn't they gave you a minus. It's their personal opinion. If they're not evil ofcourse ;)

    Anyway, this problem isn't really a probleme ;)
    Sorry for my "Negative strip", ti doesn't matter.

    I would just like that a comment accompanies the minus, to know WHY. What improve, what the users don't like, etc etc.

    A minus alone is without interest.

    Well but still... You need minus :) Cause there is good and there is bad.
    If you only got good comments and pluses you'd think you're doing the best you can. But you're probably not. You can always do better. And I don't think that there are so many "evil" users on SG that give minuses just cause they're evil :)

    Taking away the minus would mean we take away the plus. We cant take away the plus because thats what makes people get bribed.

    ALSO, it could have been and accident, the + and - buttons are very small, someone could have accidentally rated it badly. Everyone is taking this to seriously. Strips can be bad, if someone is speaking *too much* trash language I will rate it -, or if someone is speaking badly about someone else I will also rate it -.

    I think that rating should stay anonymous. It's the only way that you really get valid results and keep improving yourself. If you got a minus today... Well you can always do a better job tomorrow :)

    i think they should notify who rated the strips, so that ppl will think twice (or more?) before rating, and no random rating.

    I understand your point of view, but the minus isn't demon-like =D

    But i agree with you on some points (People can criticize even without the minus !)
