The beauty of DotA!

    DOMINATING!

    One of the games that I regularly play, and which is viewed as one off the most important (second actually) games in my local community is DotA (Defense of the Ancients). Of course, it's one of the ones that require certain skill.

    About one and a half years of decent playing worth of skill.

    I started playing DotA sometime in 2007, about mid summer (I had played both WC3 and DotA before). But this time it was serious.

    Now I'm a O.K. player, a great team player, but I have problems with realization...

    The point of this comic is simple:
    Newbs and people who make mistakes and real Noobs.

    Newb = Begginer
    Noob = Idiot who sucks

    Spear here made an mistake which apparently caused his team some trouble.
    So what? Everyone makes mistakes?
    Right?

    Wrong.
    At least that's what the real noobs think.

    This type of elitist and simply mean behavior of about 60% or more DotA players is what encouraged Gas Powered Games to go ahead with the making of Demigod (an RTS/RPG hybrid devilishly similar to DotA (that will soon come out)).

    All in all, DotA is a fun, challenging and exciting game (actually it's a custom WC3:TFT map).

    The type of sh*t that influenced this strip is what discouraged 10.000.000 of players from actually learning the game.

    Make DotA a better place!
