    Lightning (ライトニング, Raitoningu)
    Lighning is the lead character of FFXIII and the first female lead in a Final Fantasy main series game. Former sergeant of the Guardian Corps, Lightning sought the Pulse fal'Cie, Anima, in order to ask it to save her sister Serah, whom the fal'Cie had turned into a l'Cie. However, much to her dismay, Lightning was turned into a l'Cie herself.

    Western release date: March 9, 2010.

    So I finally got a copy of FF13 (shared price with a friend its so expensive), so I thought I would do an homage to it. It has taken so long to get a main series entry in FF it almost seemed like it would never happen! If you have never played FF you should play this one. The graphics are beyond amazing, and the story is well written. If you are a FF fan you are already playing this so what more is there to say : ] The battle system takes some getting use to (similar to FF12) and it is very linear, more than usual, but the FF magic is still absolutely there. Really recommend it, though it is expensive right now.

    About the drawing: Lightning is a very hard character to draw. She has a very realistic character design and a very distinctive demeanor and expressiveness. She has a cold expression but somewhere beneath it there is a tension and warmth of spirit and vulnerability.
