Indeed, having those background templates would be cool and help. Creating environments aren't my strongest area.
  • DanielMS 22.7.2010
Creating and saving a strip-template would be great. So I must not start from scratch each time.

Editing of Strips after saving would also be a great feature (maybe as a copy).
  • Andraz 22.7.2010
that is so hard to do that we are not sure if its worth it.
  • Spunkn 22.7.2010
Are you talking about my suggestions, or DanielMS' suggestions? Because I think that doing a scenery template and putting it in to custom frames wouldn't be that hard.
  • DanielMS 22.7.2010
I think it was on my suggestions.

What about a copy frame to another frame action? Now I have to copy the items in the same frame and then moving it to the next one. I can imagine that this is not very hard to code.
  • Spunkn 22.7.2010
The only thing I can suggest for that would be to select it all, group it together, move it out of frame, then position it over the frame you want, where you want it in that frame, and push move to frame and select the frame, then ungroup. If you already have grouped objects, you can still double it, move it out of frame carefully move it while it's still selected and move it to the frame you want. That's the best way to copy it exactly, so that things don't move out of frame or something.

As far as editing, you could just group it all together, save it to library, then when you're ready to come back to it you can put it into frame and ungroup it and continue working. You may need to have some extra library space though!
  • DanielMS 22.7.2010
Good idea. I think I'll try the library thing :-)
  • DanielMS 23.7.2010
New idea: Set a strip to be not public.
Maybe because you created a very personal card or want to publish the strip later for some reasons.
  • NooniePuuBunny 26.7.2010
@DanielMS: thats a great idea. That way you can do some strips for personal reasons. Of course, if you do that, it would be cool to have strips only visible to people on your friends list available as well. ^_^ Kinda like you could set a blog entry to be friends only, or certain friends if it contained sensitive material.

YH AND channel comments could be cool and a chat room too! and something like suscribers too
    stalkees do nothing
    and starting groups
  • Spunkn 27.7.2010
They used to have a deactivate strip option, which I used quite often. Subscribers wouldn't do anything more than stalkees and friends do now. Groups and chat room might be interesting though.

How about checking to see if we want to delete a certain library item. I just deleted a couple of my library items by accident while I was creating a strip. It's a little annoying to know I'll have to work on recreating those, which might take a while depending on what it is.

    who faved my strips ?
    I'll like to know that...
  • Streetin 29.7.2010
Perhaps when you look at their profile, it tells you if they're logged in or not, and also if they're currently in the middle of making a strip...
  • BaalMoloch 29.7.2010
A BUTTON FOR REPORTING ABUSE !
Some strips should be deleted by administrators...
  • Andraz 29.7.2010
yeah, this is needed, agreed. Badly.
  • Absidion 30.7.2010
Need to be able to make multiple pages per comic.
  • Horatius 30.7.2010
Is there any way to tell when someone has used your library elements? That could be cool.
  • Andraz 31.7.2010
there is definitely a way, if there is will :)
