    @NathanTo:
    Good Idea!
although the guys at SG probably won't check this site so much...
  • Puffyjo 31.10.2011
I'am asking myself the same question? Can I edit a published strip?
  • NathanTo 1.11.2011
The answer is no. You can't edit a strip once it's been published.
  • veronicatinoco 14.2.2012
You can't save your strip. Epic fail. I haven't got time to make a complete strip at a time, so i don't like stripgenerator very much.

NO CHANCE IN HELL YOU GOT!
  • A57312 4.5.2012
Come on, put in the Save and Re-edit buttons
  • gregheffleydude1 4.5.2012
You can only edit (after published): the title, tags, and description.

I understand not being able to edit a published site, because people may have "liked" it or otherwise posted it, then you could edit the comic to change what they "liked" with embarrassing results.
  • creepyguy 26.5.2012
It would be great if we could create a new comic based on a previous one and correct the error and publish it as a new comic, deleting the old one.
  • dadebomb123 26.5.2012
    not a bad idea creepyguy
  • gamersfire 10.12.2012
Editing isn't a big deal, but I would love to use the duplication as a basis to start a new one for sure.
  • 35sheep 10.12.2012
@gamersfire: That's what the library is for
  • Bigmelvis 24.12.2012
really makes the site harder, my vote -- save and edit feature.
  • Qwertpop14 24.12.2012
Yeah embarrassingly I have some errors and I need to EDIT but no we can't do that. I mean it's a simple need when you do comics you're bound to have mistakes so please we need an edit feature :/
  • 35sheep 25.12.2012
Apparantly saving as "editable" files takes up LOADS more space and 'muscles' serverside, so it's not gonna happen.

It's really not that big a deal, when you get used to it. Just look at the artwork produced by the experienced users in here.

Saving as editable wouldn't take up as much as saving a 24bit png, big boy... This sloppiness makes me sad.
