Problems and annoyances - Is there something not working? Tell us about it!
Publish\Save Strip not working | author: SenileDemon | 17.04.2008 16:57
I made a strip > clicked publish > save > uploading strip to server
and nothing happens. It simply stuck on uploading strip to server.
My system hasn't changed since I last made a strip a month or two ago and SG worked just fine back then. I Tried updating my FireFox and Flash but it didn't work, I also tried making a strip on Opera but nothing...
Is this one of those strange server issues StripGenerator sometimes has or is it something bigger?

I tried reinstalling firefox and adobe flash but nothing. I also tried turning off windows firewall and my firewall software. Nothing, nothing, nothing...
According to my firewall firefox does send data to stripgenerator.com somehow it just gets lost on the way.
I guess my SG days are over. BOOHOOHOOHOHOO!

Help Please
There is no way to contact the web master on the site. So I have left this missive here hoping to inspire a repair. I am suspicious it might have something to do with the recent flash upgrade.
Hope this helps.
..i have got same problem with OPERA and FIREFOX (over year)..
..so if i want to srippin' i use IE and it works..
I uninstalled the new flash version and downloaded old Macromedia Flash from http://www.oldapps.com/Macromedia_Flash_Player.htm
SG is now working fine.
:(
;) SG works again, hooray!
TIP: If one of them (MF, IE) dont work, try the other one!
Well... Can you fix it, Zigmund? I really like much more the Mozilla!
i cant submit since last night...
and i dont have firefox or mozilla... i am an ie user...
(coz i am too lazy to change... = = r)

when i use firefox with downgraded flash it keeps tell me to instal the last version and if i don't i can't do anything at all.
with IE i have the same "uploading comic..." process that run forever 'till i turn off the PC.
T_T
could all the guy that can still publish post what configuration/plugin they use to see what is the problem?
instal the latest flash player directly from adobe if automatic update does not work.
i use windows xp, ie 7 and fire fox, and i've downloaded the latest flash version directly from adobe....Results: I can't strip... Tiger zahuel gave me a tip (uninstall the latest flash version, restart the computer and install an older version) but it still doesn't work...Do you have an idea ?
nope. Not anymore. Firewall pehaps?
It is some sort of incompability problem with SG and the adobe flash.
As I said before, reverting to old Macromedia Flash Player 9.0.115.0 solved the problem for me (reply #9).
if you use the new version of flash, then you can't have sg, which sucks.
please?
