women | author: gerdbonk | 24.06.2007 07:29

Out of 83 human characters, approximately 9 are women (there are a few androgynous ones).

What's up with that?

  1. re: women | Zigmund | 25.06.2007 17:47 well, frankly, male characters are easier to be made with different characteristics - in most cartoons you can notice that women mostly take two roles - sexy and old bittered women.

it would be nice to debate that ...

Now, you know that isn't true. In fact, it's probably the opposite, considering how often most women change hairstyles, fashion, etc.

" - in most cartoons you can notice that women mostly take two roles - sexy and old bittered women."

That merely reflects a lack of imagination on the part of the cartoonist. I certainly have a male POV, but I've learned enough about women to know there's LOTS to make fun of!

It'd be nice if there was a legitimate discussion forum here. This format sucks.
  4. re: women | Andraz | 27.06.2007 09:37 well, forum is not really a state of the art piece of technology, but we can still discuss stuff like that.

And I do agree we need more women!
  5. re: women | Zigmund | 27.06.2007 12:58 i'm keeping it in mind, in future packages there will be more women - well not more than men, but more then now.

and if you're not sattisfied with "well, frankly, male characters are easier to be made with different characteristics", i'll have to say: for me, making male characters is easier, because i believe that thay have more characteristics.

  6. re: women | Andraz | 27.06.2007 18:13 Zigmund is the designer :). So he chooses what goes in and what doesnt :).
