I know that Tag Clouds are a tool for "categorizing" strips which works fairly well. But my suggestion is something more efficient, like a tool that allows people to have multiple stripblogs under one login, or else (and more elegant) have "strip series" subdivisions in their stripblogs.

Thus, people like arthur, deadhonkey and me, who create theme strip series, can create different themed strips without messing everything up.

1. re: Multiple Blogs / Strip Series | Andraz | 19.01.2007 15:46 Yeah, strip series should be categorized differently, but how would you solve it? Would it be ok if you have another drop down thingy on step 2 creating your strip where you select predefined (via your edit) series?

I was considering doing this as well, just for the political cartoons I'm doing (they're like islands of "serious" amongst my silliness and blogs).
   
   Is there a rule against multiple accounts? Thought I'd ask before creating one.

5. re: Multiple Blogs / Strip Series | Zigmund | 20.01.2007 16:36 we could create a blog with a known username and password and name it, let's say: famous art pieces with SG.. people who would want to contribute into this blog with their versions of known artworks, would simply use it whenever..
   
   we could determine those blogs together - besides famous artworks, my suggestion is RETRO GAMES.

   Names of our blogs would appear on the right bar, just like favourites. And one of them could be set as primary, that is, the one that naturally appears when you type youraddress.stripgenerator.com.

   I think I'll post some how to's there to. Like "how to make an elephant / watercooler / etc" :)
