graphic rotations and placement | author: mr_wowtrousers | 24.01.2007 00:16
Hey guys, love the site, especially the style of the clipart.
Made my first strip last night, so here are a couple of things that annoyed, but in no way stopped, me from getting all my creative juices onto the internet . . . and my keyboard.
# "Characters" seem locked to a ground plane. Is this correct? (ie, can't have them in the middle of a panel.)
# Is it possible for clip art to be rotated at 45 degrees? This would allow a lot more dynamic situations as characters could lean, fly, be shown falling over etc. (eg in my first strip, I wanted the monkey leaping at an angle and the scientist tipping back, but it was a no-go)
# rounded balloons would be nice, but that's more aesthetic than functional.
NB. I admit that I did it all very quickly so may well have missed a lot of features/workarounds.
Cheers big ears
